It’s been a while since I’ve honestly sat down to update this blog. Gosh, I have been awfully busy with work. Oh wait, yeah I was too busy to even tell everyone that I got a new job.

I was offered to be an Operations Manager for this huge national BPO. The offer was simply irresistible – well paying salary, travel, and a whole lot of other perks. So yes, I quit my old job and jumped right on board.

My new job has been keeping me on my toes since I started last January 8th. It’s now been what, 4 months? Whoa how time flies. The past four months have been one heck of a ride. Guess what, things got even better! The company is expanding and is opening its pioneer delivery center in the Philippines and I’ve been chosen as one of the 5 operations managers to spearhead the Philippine expansion.

Yes, I’m leaving for the Philippines in 3 weeks time and I’m so excited. Imagine, I will be one of the pioneers. I surely can feel a promotion coming up if ever all goes well. But yeah, apart from an incredible increase in my salary and perks, I also need to take on more responsibility. Thus, I don’t think I can still keep this blog rolling.

I love blogging, I like sharing my thoughts and day to day learnings with everyone. However, I guess this is a greater calling — my expertise is needed somewhere else. So for now, I’ll bid blogging goodbye. But who knows, I might be back soon with an even better blog. I WILL MISS YOU ALL!

So what’s up with athletes and posing in ads? They can really sell probably. The girls (including me) would totally be convinced to buy briefs and jeans. J

I know they’re blessed with good genes but I know it took a lot of hard work to have those kind of bodies. Gym, anyone?

On a personal note, I should probably buy that Smooth treadmill.

I may not know how to swim but I am a great appreciator of the beauty of beaches. It really is true what they say about the water having a calm effect on you. Probably except when you go to a beach that’s always heavily populated by tourists and beach lovers alike. It can get too hot and annoying but since it’s a public property, you can’t do anything about it.

I love looking at the deep blue water and the matching blue skies. With the perfect swimsuit, I shall soon hit the beach.

I love my iPhone 4 and I have it with me everywhere I go. I also like to put different cases every time I feel like in the mood to pimp it. I found these really amazing iPhone 4 cases. Aren’t they so pretty?

I have always been a fan of celebrity couples. They intrigue me. Some I absolutely hate, but some couple I adore so much that I was also sad when they broke up. Here are three of my favorite Hollywood couples that didn’t make it.

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe. They absolutely looked gorgeous together and they had a family too but I guess they’re just not meant to be.

Jennifer Garner and Michael Vaughn. Don’t get me wrong, I love Ben Affleck too but I was just a big fan of Alias and I really liked their chemistry together.

Isn’t it pretty obvious that I’m an Andy Roddick fan? Too bad he and Mandy Moore broke up. I think they looked really good together.

Well you know in Hollywood, everything seems to be temporary.

I’m in the mood to shop for swimsuits. I’ve been reading articles and tips about how to buy the perfect one for your body type. Ever since, I simply look at the design and if I like it, then I go buy it. Of course, I would end up not liking it on me. That’s why I know better this time and I’m now being very critical about each one that I just visually like.

Now this I wonder if anyone could actually swim with this on.

God knows I’m not the sportiest person ever! Yes, I’m actually into sports but never good at a sport. Here are some of the sports that I wish I was good in.

1. Tennis – I wish could play this sport. I have had some lessons but I’m still pretty hopeless at this.

Andy Roddick – I don’t care that he’s not winning anymore, he’s hot. J

2. Football – Not American football, but football as in soccer. Although I’m sure that I could never last a good 90 minutes running around that huge field!

Steven Gerrard is one of the best midfielders ever!

3. Basketball – So basketball is really not a girl’s game but I enjoy watching the sport and how I wish I could be so cool and know how to dribble and actually shoot it.

I started being a Jason Kidd fan since he was playing at New Jersey Nets. I love his game!

4. Swimming – For the life of me, I could never swim. I think I paid my way through a swimming class (so bad of me, I know).

Michael Phelps. This is definitely not because of the body. I just wish I could at least know how to swim.

5. Cycling – So this is mainly because I love Lance Armstrong. He’s one of my favorite athletes ever. I couldn’t even last that long just biking around.

If only I could, I really would. I may not be blessed with the necessary skill and talent to pursue any of these careers, but it doesn’t mean that I can’t stop dreaming about it.

No. 1 career I wish I could have: Interior Designer

I grew up watching those television shows like Clean House and the like. I watch those Home and Garden shows, everything. The big problem is: I don’t even know how to draw. Maybe I’m just too scared to try. But yes, I wish I could be an Interior Designer and transform uninspiring spaces into beautiful art.

No. 2 career I wish I could have: Jewelry Designer

Too scared to try again but it fascinates me how you can turn nothing into something really beautiful.

No. 3 career I wish I could have: Deejay

Now this is really cool. Although I suspect that if I attempt to be one, I’d end up worrying more about what I should wear at a party that I would be spinning for rather than what to actually play. Oh well, I’m such a girl.

No. 4 career I wish I could have: Event Organizer

Well, I did try to do this but I want to do something bigger. I want to do the best event ever!

No. 5 career I wish I could have: Novelist

I love to read but I really love to write more. I wish I can write my own novel. That would be awesome. I know I can probably do this if I want to but I just can’t seem to find the time to start or the inspiration to make me write one.

I love music and I may not be a real music person nor am I musically inclined. But I do enjoy listening to music and having the latest gadgets associated to it. One in particular is the Dr. Dre’s Beats. I want to buy a headset for myself but it’s really expensive, this brand. Not only do they have a great quality to them, they also look really cool and trendy.

Here are the two Beats headsets that are on my wishlist.

This is the Just Beats headset by Justin Bieber. Not that I’m a JB fan, but I think it’s really cute.

Now I should think how I can buy this. It’s pretty expensive for just a headset. I could easily buy a lot of shoes with one of these.

I still get amazed how I can really find everything on the internet. From shoes to accessories, to treadmills and even workout DVDs, you name and for sure you can find it on Amazon. Is it just me or am I that lazy to actually go to the mall and actually get to see the products first? Doing it while sitting on my butt is much easier and hassle-free.

Oh, speaking of treadmills, I have yet to decide what to buy. I still haven’t made up my mind whether or not I go with that or an elliptical machine. It’s taking me so long to work out. Good thing I have Zumba to at least help me sweat a little bit every day.

But now, I think I should do more and go get myself some workout DVDs. I’m searching online right now and I’m not sure what to get, however. I should get those Jillian Michaels stuff. I heard it’s pretty good. I’m not sure if it’s going to effective on me though.
